The challenge

A digital-native team that wanted to be safer

Sendcloud has a team of digital natives, so the choice for Google Workspace was an obvious one from the very start. What they were looking for was a way to improve their IT security.

Google Workspace proved to be a very secure solution, especially in combination with ChromeOS devices — and a security scan showed where its more advanced security features could still add something.

The approach

Data Loss Prevention and labelled Drive files

In our security scan we proposed Data Loss Prevention rules. Labelling Google Drive files gives Sendcloud extra control over sharing: the rules keep particular files from leaving the organisation.

According to Sendcloud the feature was easy to implement and the security benefit is considerable. With Google Workspace and Chromebooks, working safely takes no extra effort.

The impact

ChromeOS as the standard

Advanced security principles in Google Workspace made Sendcloud's IT safer still. ChromeOS has become the standard there, which makes onboarding simple and device management light.

Working in the cloud fits the signature of a young company and its close to 500 digital-native employees.

NextNovate is really good at understanding our organization. They're very familiar with the way we would like to work at Sendcloud. Working with NextNovate feels like working with an extension of my own team. The Customer Success Managers are knowledgeable, and eager to help. I like the fact that NextNovate doesn't push any tools or solutions.
